Two ARCH directors, Maurice O’Brien and Fiona Sussman, recently spent time at the GP Conference in Hamilton familiarising GPs with the work of the Auckland Regional Charity Hospital. They shared a trade stand with the Canterbury Charity Hospital under the banner of New Zealand Charity Hospitals.

The weekend highlighted an apparent lack of awareness on the part of GP’s that ARCH services also extend to patients living outside the Auckland region. ARCH aims to facilitate surgery for patients New Zealand-wide who meet the qualifying criteria.
